WinMagic joins Trusted Computing Group
Membership reinforces strategy to deliver ‘platform-agnostic’ encryption solutions


MISSISSAUGA, Ontario. – July 29, 2008 – WinMagic, Inc., supplier of enterprise-class encryption solutions, has joined the Trusted Computing Group (TCG), an industry standards organization whose open specifications help computer vendors design and market products that enable users to protect critical data and information.

WinMagic's SecureDoc™ encryption solutions enable organizations to protect their sensitive data on a variety of endpoints and platforms, and are used on more than three million notebook computers and other devices around the world. SecureDoc Enterprise™ application software provides robust and easily-deployed encryption solutions for leading commercial and public enterprises in more than 40 countries.

As part of the TCG, WinMagic will help develop standards and implement solutions for data security. Membership in the TCG will help ensure that WinMagic solutions continue to support and benefit from security industry standards.
