WinMagic looking to expand its Channel Partner Network in Europe
WinMagic demonstrates its latest SecureDoc products at CeBIT 2004
Mississauga, Ontario, February 9, 2004 - WinMagic, one of the leading Disk Encryption vendors in the world, is looking to expand its Channel Partner Network in Europe. In particular, WinMagic is interested in signing up Value Added Resellers (VAR's) and Consultants that have a focus towards Information Security and User Authentication products.
"At the moment, we have a limited number of VAR's representing our SecureDoc products in Europe", says Martijn Vrugteman, Channel Manager at WinMagic Inc. "We feel that the European market is ready for major Disk Encryption implementations and therefore we would like to offer VAR's the opportunity to benefit from these developments".
"In our efforts to attract European VAR's, we have scheduled a number of activities in the European market for this year", says Vrugteman. "Our first major effort in one of the key markets is our presence at CeBIT in Hannover, Germany, from March 18 until March 24, 2004. WinMagic will exhibit at the world's most important IT show in Hall 6, Stand E52 (Canadian Pavilion) and we are excited about the opportunities to get in touch with qualified potential Channel Partners as well as interested end user customers in the public and corporate sectors".
WinMagic is the manufacturer of the SecureDoc Disk Encryption product line. SecureDoc provides full disk encryption for desktops and laptops, in order to secure any sensitive and confidential data on these machines. Furthermore, SecureDoc offers multi-factor user authentication at pre-boot time, in conjunction with all the major PKI vendors, smartcard and hardware token vendors, thus providing a multi-level security infrastructure for client machines.
