Major highlights in SecureDoc v5.3 SR4

  • OS X 10.7.5 and OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion): Added support for Mac OS X 10.7.5 and 10.8 (Mountain Lion).

Note: Users are required to install the SecureDoc 5.3SR4 update for Mac before they upgrade to 10.7.5 or 10.8. Failure to do this may cause system instability.

  • Added support for Gemalto Cyberflex Access 64k smartcard (with a 2048-bit certificate and a PIN length greater than 8 characters).

SD-155

DAC (Disk Access Control) read/write settings do not take effect when RMCE (Removable Media Container Encryption) is enabled. [CLIENT]

Fix: If DAC is set to "Read Only Unless Encrypted", it will not be possible to write to disk areas that have not been encrypted by RMCE.

SD-273

The "Encrypt Media" option appears in the RMCE context menu on the client. [CLIENT]

Fix: This option no longer appears; only the "Create Encrypted Container" option is shown.

PBN auto-boot user is not able to use RMCE. [CLIENT]
