SecureDoc - Full-disk encryption protects data at rest stored on desktops / laptops by employing pre-boot authentication processes including password, hardware token, biometrics, PKI, and smart card. SecureDoc presents a user-friendly solution, providing concrete security for PC’s and laptops alike, by utilizing Public Key Cryptographic Standards PKCS-11. It has achieved validations for Common Criteria, FIPS 140-1 Level 2, FIPS 140-2 Level 1 & 2, AES (#359), SHA-2 (#434), and HMAC (#158). It offers AES 256-bit encryption for USB / FireWire External Drives, pocket drives, flash cards, PCMCIA Drives, Zip, Jazz, etc.

SecureDoc SDConnex
The new, redesigned SecureDoc SDConnex has a new and improved GUI that gives the administrator the ability to manage communication between SecureDoc clients and the Enterprise Server in real-time. There is a new log system, which allows an administrator to trouble shoot any errors, as they have access to more information. The communication system is more robust and supports very high loads. SDConnex has
better error handling that includes a quarantine system.

SecureDoc Form Improvements
SDForm can decide if the communication between server and client should be postponed. Lower network traffic improves communication and presets can be configured to connect to the
SES Server via SDConnex. SDForm provides the option to terminate the installation of the SecureDoc client.

Partition Encryption
Administrators and users can choose to encrypt different partitions with respective keys at the initial encryption process without having to encrypt the entire hard-disk.

Windows Vista
When upgrading to MS Windows Vista, customers can be assured an upgrade path as they continue to use our encryption technology. Version 4.3 supports all editions of MS Windows Vista.

Spyrus ECC Support
Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) will be the predominant public key mechanism in the very near future due to shorter key sizes. With this main advantage over traditional public key schemes, SecureDoc will play a vital role in its support.

TPM 1.2
The overwhelming majority of new computer systems are embedded with the TPM (Trusted Platform Module) chip. SecureDoc originally supported TPM v1.1 and now supports version 1.2. With the integration of our product and TPM, we offer our customers an additional integrated layer of security.

Improved Support with Windows Hibernation
Improvements include the support of new hardware standards, such as Storage Drive from Intel.

Support for CrashDump
Crash dump file will be encrypted.

Improved Management with Password Synchronization
SecureDoc does not allow automatic login to Windows
when authentication is completed via challenge response.
If password synchronization with Windows is enabled and the client logs in via challenge response, the client will not be automatically logged into Windows. Instead increase security will be present by having the user prompted for the Windows login dialog for the old password. It will be necessary for the user to contact the administrator for a password change.

SecureDoc accepts Windows passwords without applying
password rules when password synchronization is activated.

Support of Imaging and Disk Utilities
SecureDoc is compatible with any defragmentation utility such as Disk Defragmentation. It is also supports disk imaging utilities such as Norton Ghost.

Certificates from local store
With this extra level of security, customers can choose to use their Windows Certificate to protect their SecureDoc key file. This additional layer of protection helps further secure the 256 bit encrypted key.

Removable Media Encryption
SecureDoc makes it easier to encrypt removable media. Encryption is enabled through Windows Explorer. Encrypted media can be easily shared between computers that may be protected by SecureDoc. In the case of a clean “computer”, a DiskViewer utility can be downloaded from our website to gain access to the encrypted media.

Granular Control with Disk Encryption
In allowing the administrator to create a remote installation profile that will encrypt all fixed disks on the client, users have more control over the initial encryption process, including the boot hard disk (even if it is removable) while avoiding the encryption of removable media such as UBS storages devices.
