Centralized Management with SecureDoc Enterprise Server (SES)

Part of SecureDoc for HP is SecureDoc Enterprise Server (SES). This solution offers organizations total control over their data security environment ensuring maximum security and transparency in regular work flow. SES enables customers to streamline their IT processes and as a result, help reduce the total IT cost of ownership.

PBConnex – Reduce Total Cost of Ownership

For managed environments, IT administrators can leverage the industry leading pre-boot network-based authentication offered through PBConnexTM. PBConnex is the only data encryption and management solution that allows for pre-boot network authentication either wired or wirelessly. PBConnex utilizes network-based resources to authenticate users, enforce access controls, and manage end point devices before the operating system loads

Opal Self-Encrypting Drive (SED) Support

With Opal-compliant SEDs data encryption is always on and data access requires authentication. However, a third party solution is required to actually enable data protection .That’s where WinMagic’s SecureDoc for HP steps in—to simplify SED management, with features that give you complete control over how your data is stored and protected. SecureDoc collects encryption key information from the self-encrypted drive and provides the same central control, credential and protection offered to its software-encrypted drives.

Removable Media Container Encryption - RMCE

Along with traditional removable media encryption (RME), SecureDoc for HP also offers RMCE. This gives users the ability to not only fully encrypt a USB but create an encrypted container on a removable USB. This differs from traditional removable media encryption inasmuch as the user isn’t required to encrypt the full volume of the media. With RMCE users can effectively create an encrypted partition on the removable media leaving the remainder of the volume unencrypted and free to use for other purposes.

Giving Administrators Control

SecureDoc for HP is a centrally managed version of HP Drive Encryption (built-in hard drive encryption) that allows HP customers to increase administrative efficiency, improve end user experiences and reduce the total cost of IT ownership. All while ensuring maximum data protection and transparency in regular work flow.
