SecureDoc for Lenovo is a comprehensive Full-Disk Encryption (FDE) solution that provides software-based encryption for end-point devices, as well as central management of all self-encrypting drives (SEDs). It also enhances capability of OS built-in encryption such as Bitlocker and integrates Lenovo’s Rescue and Recovery.
Lenovo ThinkPad laptops and ThinkCentre desktops are among the first PCs to offer Opal standard FDE drives, which are more secure, offer higher system performance, and are easier to manage. Coupling these devices with SecureDoc for Lenovo introduces PBConnex (Exclusive Pre-Boot Network Authentication), support for AES-NI, and integration of Single Sign-On (SSO) from power-off through pre-boot authentication into Windows. These enhancements make full disk encryption easier to manage, easier to use, and faster than ever before.
